Look, I really don’t want to wax philosophic, but I will say that if you’re alive, you got to flap your arms and legs, you got to jump around a lot, you got to make a lot of noise, because life is the very opposite of death. And therefore, as I see it, if you’re quiet, you’re not living. You’ve got to be noisy, or at least your thoughts should be noisy and colorful and lively.

Everything about this was ruined the second they decided to cast Kristen Stewart as Snow White. COME ON!!!!!
Second First Look of the Day: At this afternoon’s Hall H panel for Snow White and the Huntsman, Universal Pictures released the first promo pics for Rupert Sanders’ “rough tough” Lord of the Rings-esque retelling of the classic Grimm’s fairy tale.
Starring Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth, Sam Claflin, Ian McShane, Eddie Izzard, Bob Hoskins, Toby Jones, Eddie Marsan, Steven Graham, and Nick Frost, the film offers a gritty counterpoint to Tarsem’s “softer”-seeming Snow White feature, which will be released around the same time.

Snow White and the Huntsman is scheduled to hit theaters June 1, 2012.

people keep referring to this as “the end of an era.”
silly people. harry potter will NEVER end. the books and the movies will stay with us forever, and they will continue to make us feel the way they always have (and hopefully, future generations to come.)
this isn’t the end.
its the beginning.
I agree. I am so excited for when (hopefully) my kids read harry potter.
But, at the same time. When this movie is over I’m gonna be all:

But, that has always been inevitable.

Casting News of the Day: NBC officially confirmed today that James Spader (sex, lies, and videotape, Crash, Secretary) will be joining The Office to play Sabre’s new CEO Robert California, replacing Kathy Bates who departs to focus on her other NBC show, Harry’s Law.
“James will reprise his role as Robert California, this uber-salesman that has a power to convince and manipulate, like a high-class weirdo Jedi warrior,” Office executive producer Paul Lieberstein (better known as Toby) said in a statement. “He’ll have been hired over the summer as the new manager, but within hours, got himself promoted. Within days, he took over the company. James has an energy that is completely his own, and ‘The Office’ has no tools for dealing with this guy. We’re thrilled he’s joining our cast.”
